Production Supervisor
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing organization in Wilson, NC who is hiring a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits. The selected candidate will train on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent night shift schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily night-shift production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved
- Build and support a new production team of approximately 15 employees
- Monitor production schedules, employee performance, and overall workflow
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members
- Address employee concerns, performance issues, and operational challenges
- Partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate updates with leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and processes
Requirements:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced production setting
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, make decisions, and handle challenges professionally
- Comfortable working on the production floor around machinery and equipment
- Basic computer skills required; experience with production systems is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge preferred
