Accentuate Staffing has an immediate opportunity for an experience Production Planner to join a well-established global manufacturer in Raleigh.

The Production Planner will collaborate with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure accurate work center capacity and routing standards and ensure timely release and close of production work orders. This position will work heavily with purchasing to ensure material arrives when necessary to support production. The Production Planner will evaluate the impact of demand change and customer change requests on production requirements and make accurate delivery commitments to customer orders.

Responsibilities:

    • Managing production planning activities for product
    • Creates, releases and maintain production orders by using MRP as main planning tool.
    • Evaluates, executes and manages exception messages and Planned orders.
    • Manage, maintain, dispatches and communicates detailed production priorities, establishing and maintaining the proper level of detailed production plan aligned to master production schedule and customer requirements.
    • Provides accurate plan dates, detailed production plans and load capacity at work centers, for both internal work centers and outside processing.
    • Identify gaps to the schedule and coordinate gap-closing actions, including collaboration with other departments and own
    • Maintain accurate planning master data tied to products within assigned planner codes.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; or 5-year experience as MRP Planner or Similar
    • Planning and production order control experience, using MRP as planning tool, Capacity planning for ETO manufacturing environment
    • Well organized, team player, Self-motivated, Self-accountable, excellent communication skills; ability to work across organizational boundaries.
    • Passion for innovation and waste elimination.
    • Microsoft Office proficient.
    • Experience with castings and machined parts is preferred.
    • ASCM CPIM or CSCP Certification is a plus.
    • Proficient in 2 ERP environments or using Avante ERP is a plus.
