
Production Control Specialist
Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization that is seeking a Production Control Specialist to join its operations team. This role plays an important part in supporting production planning, inventory accuracy, and manufacturing efficiency within a highly regulated environment. The company is known for its commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering products that support critical healthcare applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing setting and a strong understanding of production planning, inventory transactions, and ERP/MRP systems. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze production data while collaborating with production, warehouse, and planning teams. The successful candidate will help ensure inventory accuracy, maintain production records, generate key performance metrics, and support overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Process production and inventory transactions within the company’s MRP/ERP system to maintain accurate manufacturing and inventory records.
- Analyze production data, labor performance, and operational metrics to prepare reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reconcile production documentation, inventory usage, and bill of materials data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and planning teams to track materials, work-in-process inventory, and completed production orders.
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, physical inventory processes, returns processing, and inventory adjustments.
- Assist with production-related documentation, labels, work order materials, and other operational activities as needed to support manufacturing requirements.
Requirements:
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing, production control, supply chain, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in production control, inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, or manufacturing operations, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory transactions, material planning, and procurement workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with strong data entry and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and support operational objectives.
