Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Product Manager to join a leading manufacturing company in Morrisville, NC. The Product Manager will have the exciting opportunity to shape the project management, product launch and product lifecycle management process to support the new start-up consumer products business. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Use strong project management skills, leadership and proactive facilitation to organize diverse teams, define end to end workstreams for product / project launch requirements, and execute projects according to defined timelines
- Organize the systems, processes and resources of the operation such that launch expectations can be met for all products and on-time delivery performance meets or exceeds stated goals
- Understand the strategic goals, requirements and operational needs of business stakeholders, and collaborates with them to develop strategies and/or tactics necessary to deliver objectives
- Gathers, defines, and ensures execution of cross-functional requirements to deliver defined project requirements
- Leads, develops and builds a division project & product lifecycle management approach and defines corresponding guidelines
- Delivers effective, efficient and responsive project management, working hand in hand cross-functionally with members of Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Communications, Legal, Finance and other department stakeholders to deliver holistically on project requirements that meet organizational, process, system, financial and regulatory needs
- As well as launch capability, also has ability to dismantle operations, exit unproductive products or projects, and manage corresponding elimination communications, processes and systems
- Establishes KPIs to ensure customer and company business needs are consistently achieved and drives continuous improvement programs that deliver responsiveness, quality and service that generates competitive advantage
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business or related field
- 6+ years project management – preferably with a CPG company
- Excellent knowledge of project management and product launch as a part of the end to end supply chain and how it interrelates with Sales & Operations Planning, Customer launch, forecasting, production planning, logistics, product lifecycle management
- Demonstrated ability to operate smoothly across multiple systems – including MS Project, ERP systems, and modern collaboration tools
