Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client with an immediate need for an Entry Level Procurement/Planning Specialist in Apex, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with purchase order entry experience that would like to begin a career in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. This position will assist in the effective management of scheduling and flow of parts from customer order through to shipping for the machine and parts business units. Recent graduates with a focus in a related field are strongly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Closing out production orders
- Ensure that tracking spreadsheet is updated in the manner that reflects closed/completed orders
- Assist in working through planning exception messages
- Ensuring that the messages are received are valid
- Actioning the messages both physically (pulling paperwork) and transactionally (in the ERP).
- Marrying parts to paperwork from incoming parts from outside suppliers. (physical/transactional).
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in order entry a manufacturing environment
- A high level of skill working in Excel with proficiency using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to work well with others
