Responsibilities:

• Perform statistical analysis to provide insights on market conditions, competitive pressures, freight zones, pricing changes.  Provide pricing recommendations based on analysis.
• Manage and develop processes that improve oversight and efficiencies between pricing, inventory/capacity management and marketing teams.
• Identify and examine market, geographic, competitive, and overall business trends.
• Test and learn approach to identify impact of pricing strategies to business growth objectives and competitive positioning.
• Develop strong working relationships with sales, marketing, finance and other departments.
• Provide pricing analysis and support for cross-functional efforts focused on revenue growth, product differentiation and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research
• Minimum 5 to 7 years business experience required in a related work environment
• Prior experience in a pricing, yield, economics and/or quantitative marketing environment
• Prior experience in freight, logistics, hospitality or airline industry is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as quantitative critical thinking skills
• Demonstrate analytical reasoning with the ability to tackle complex problems, conduct ad-hoc research and analysis
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet
• Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and under pressure.  Results focused, with emphasis on on-time delivery
