Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established chemical manufacturer in the Salt Lake City, Utah area who is looking for a Plant Manager to join their team. The Plant Manger will oversee all site operations to include regulatory compliance, employee safety and health, product quality, customer delivery and service, team development, etc. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Plant Manager will ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and FDA regulations
- Manager will support Site Safety, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain health and safety measures, managing the EHS Management System
- Manager will expand quality improvements and process improvement efforts, implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Manager will ensure on time service levels with competitive lead times
- Manager will ensure plant facilities are maintained and up to date
- Manager will interface with local and state community and agencies as needed
- Manager will manage inventories with Supply Chain and Planning
- Manager will establish department key performance indicators to monitor and report overall plant performance
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Masters degree a plus
- Candidates must have 15+ years background working in a chemical manufacturing or equivalent environment
- Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering; Masters degree a plus
- Candidates must have solid leadership background in Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
- Candidates must have quality management background in a cGMP, ISO environment
- Plant Manager must have a strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
