Accentuate Staffing has a direct hire opening for a Plant Accountant with at least 10 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing setting with a high degree of proficiency in cost accounting. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Dynamics Business Central platform (formerly Navision) preferred. The Plant Accountant maintains and controls the GL accounts and business transactions of the organization. Overall responsible for general accounting, cost accounting and analysis, accounts receivable, account payable, fixed assets, inventory, and office administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Responsible for intercompany transactions and managing the month end closing
- Prepare monthly payroll and recurring journal entries, detailed balance sheet reconciliation, calculation of product cost/inventory valuation, and sales/use tax filings
- Prepare components of analysis of cash flows.
- Support internal/external auditors
- Provide annual physical inventory and cycle count support
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field of study
- 10 Years of previous experience in Manufacturing and/or Cost Accounting
