Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a growing pharmaceutical company in Durham who is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. This is a direct hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- EHS Specialist will monitor work conditions, ensuring compliance with state and federal safety regulations.
- EHS Specialist will inspect workspace, processes, enforce health and safety policies and programs.
- EHS Specialist will develop and provide safety training.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 3+ years EHS background
- BS/BA Environmental Engineering/Occupational Health and Safety preferred
- OSHA/ANSI training and understanding a plus
