Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Payroll Analyst to join an established company in the Clayton area.   This is a 6 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Lead & subject matter expert (SME).
• Provides technical & analytical support to the Payroll function for Site Clayton.
• Leads full scope of Payroll & eTime processing in an efficient, accurate, & reliable manner.
• Acts as escalation point to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, & federal laws.
• Interacts with all levels of internal & external customers.
• Provides cross-function support (shared services) to both DFP & DAPI-US groups.
• Provide support to other HR initiatives as required.
• Responsible for the processing, monitoring, & maintenance of payroll data
• Addresses complex tax issues & responds to appropriate agency
• Responsible for payroll systems (eTime, & ADP)
• Identify process improvement initiatives
• Leads Payroll Administrator through bi-weekly payroll processing
• Prepares various special pay calculations
• Serves as back-up to full scope of payroll
• Responsible for training of other payroll administrator(s)
• Multi-State payroll set up, compliance & processing
• Conduct training on HR systems/payroll practices as required
• Prepare complex reports to support & comply with government requirements
• Maintain systems to provide accurate reporting
• Ensure compliance to all applicable federal & state laws
• Responsible for expatriate net pay calculations
• Ensure proper programming of payroll system for special calculations & compliance, engaging ADP to create change requests & thorough testing of solutions
• Ensure timely follow through on payroll inquiries
• Support Rewards & Recognition Team to ensure timely 401(k) funding
• Support cross-functional team within P&O, & other departments as required
• Provide support & assistance to Finance & other general accounting functions

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Payroll Processing Experience, 3+ years
• Automatic Data Processing (ADP) systems
• ADP eTime system
• SAP/HR system
• ADP Reporting
• Good understanding of FLSA including overtime calculations utilizing weighted overtime, fringe benefits, etc.
• Experience with various shifts as well as multi-state payroll processing preferred
