Part-Time Fine Jewelry Assistant
Accentuate Staffing is recruiting a Part-Time Fine Jewelry Assistant to join a dynamic and creative team at Leland Little Auctions in Hillsborough, NC. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-value items. This role supports daily operations within the Fine Jewelry department and offers a unique opportunity to work closely with luxury pieces in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and assist with new inventory check-in
- Clean and prepare fine jewelry and luxury accessories
- Assist with authentication of luxury items
- Transport jewelry for repair, stone setting, testing, and shipping (FedEx)
- Support and help revitalize the department’s Instagram account in alignment with marketing guidelines and direction from the Fine Jewelry Director
Requirements:
- Experience in clerical, administrative, or support roles
- Prior knowledge of or experience with fine jewelry or luxury goods preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (Mac platform; Word, Excel, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to learn new software systems
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness when handling valuable and sensitive items
