Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing medical device manufacturer in the Durham area who is looking for a part-time Buyer. This is a contract-hire position working 20-30 hours/week with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Buyer will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms and conditions with suppliers
- Buyer will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Buyer will evaluate supplier performance on deliveries, quality, servicing, pricing, etc.
- Buyer will issue Purchase Orders, monitor and follow up on Purchase Orders
- Buyer will ensure materials and assemblies are available for production
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 1+ years Buyer/Planner experience
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office; Strong Excel skills preferred
- Candidates must have an understanding of BOM, Manufacturing Processes, Inventory Management, Just in Time Delivery, etc.
