Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client of ours in the Durham area to recruit for a 2nd shift Packaging Supervisor. This is an indefinite contract opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for supervising the 2nd shift packaging department
- Candidate will assist in the training of new employees as well as conducting performance review and performance improvement planes
- Candidate will be responsible for managing data and assigning employees based on work orders
- Ensure inventory is received and distributed appropriately
- Pull necessary reports using timekeeping system
Requirements:
- Must have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility
- Previous experience managing packaging lines or kitting departments a huge plus
- Must be familiar with writing production reports
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
