Accentuate Staffing is looking for a Packaging Engineer and Designer for a large client in the Cincinnati area. The company is in a variety of industries, and you will be exposed to many great projects and products. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of package engineering experience, as well as some experience with AutoCad or design programs.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot packaging manufacturing issues and identify root cause
- Create/interpret packaging specifications to determine deviations vs manufacturing errors
- Design new packaging for various products
- Identify cost savings opportunities as it relates to packaging and materials
- Work with other engineers to in the implementation and research of new and updated packaging line installs
Requirements:
- 4 year degree in materials science/engineering, mechanical engineering, packaging, or a relate major
- At least 3 years of experience in packaging engineering and design in a variety of industries, including consumer goods and food and beverage
- Some experience with any of the following programs: AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge
