Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established food processing equipment manufacturer in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Packaging Associate to join their team. This is a contract to hire position working 2nd shift Monday-Friday (3:00pm-11:30pm).
Responsibilities:
- Packaging Associate will pack finished products
- Associate will verify products meet quality standards
- Associate will operate and troubleshoot palletizing equipment
- Associate will assemble boxes for packaging shipments
- Associate will conduct weight checks, packaging tests, and metal detection
- Associate will follow food safety and quality procedures and GMPs
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a strong attention to detail
- Candidates are preferred to have knowledge of current OSHA and Safety Standards
- Candidates must have the ability to stand for 8-hour shifts, continually lift 20-30 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
