Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established construction materials distribution center in the Raleigh area who is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire role working 6am-3pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Operations manager will develop warehouse operations systems and oversee the daily delivery and warehouse functions.
- Operations manager will determine budgets and develop plans to meet annual profit targets.
- Operations manager will use KPI’s and metrics to minimize costs and forecast future needs.
- Operations manager will engage in hiring, training, assigning work, and conducting performance reviews.
- Operations manager will take inventory and ensure proper physical conditions of facilities and equipment.
- Operations manager will be responsible for resolving operational process problems and addressing complaints.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 to 8 years related experience with 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Candidates with a background in building materials and products a plus.
- Candidates must be able to analyze and interpret government regulations and technical procedures.
- Candidates must have strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills is a must.
- Candidates must have strong leadership, training, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
