Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a boutique retail company in Raleigh who is seeking an Office Manager for all back end office and accounting functions. This will be a Mon-Fri position and will offer work life balance and opportunity. This is a newly created position within in an established company that is experiencing growth! This position is Direct Hire!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of daily office activities by providing reception and administrative support duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining spreadsheets, basic bookkeeping, database maintenance, phone calls, routing mail, answering e-mails, faxing and filing.
- Review and monitor inventory, expenses and sales records to prepare reports for management and provide financial information to accountant for budget via QuickBooks with the utmost discretion, keeping the most precise financial records.
- Manage the logistics and inventory and implement processes for retail locations for receiving, pricing and reviewing purchase orders and invoices of shipments from global and local vendors.
- Serve as point of contact for facilities operations team, customers, staff and external vendors by placing stock and special orders and problem solving between channels when necessary for customer satisfaction and account management.
- Examine merchandise to ensure it is free from defects, correctly priced and displayed and functions as advertised
- Send back damaged merchandise to vendors and process credits.
- Logistically prepare for all trunk show events; correctly logging samples and maintaining complex records, processing special orders and arranging delivery.
- Utilize customer intelligence to estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of goods to be sold.
- Training and supervision of internal sales team on policies, inventory, reconciling cash receipts, and in performing customer service to ensure effective business operations.
- Read and analyze incoming correspondence, submissions, contracts and reports to determine significance and plan distribution; faxing orders, and credit card authorization forms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree is preferred and at least 5 years of experience
- Must be proficient with MS Office and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail is required
