Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a home mortgage company located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Mortgage Loan Processor will handle all documentation processes and procedures in a quick and efficient manner. This is a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and gather all loan related documents for accounts
- Ensure all documents are accurate and in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Input all necessary information into database system for processing purposes
- Verify loan documents including income, credit appraisal, and title insurance to prepare for underwriting
- Order and coordinate all loan documents
- Update database to ensure that all fees and costs are calculated appropriately
- Meet requested deadlines
- Communicate with other departments in a professional manner
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in the residential mortgage industry
- At least 3 years of mortgage loan processing
- Knowledge of Encompass highly desired
- Knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage and compliance laws and regulations
- Highly organized and detailed
