Molecular Technologist
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a rapidly growing biotechnology company who is hiring for Molecular Technologists. This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity, offering competitive pay while working onsite. The ideal candidate has NGS experience in a CLIA/CAP regulated laboratories.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently provides accurate NGS data within a CLIA/CAP regulated, laboratory environment.
- Performs routine laboratory testing, calibrations and maintenance while adhering to GLPs.
- Executes DNA/RNA extractions, quantifications and qualifications.
- Regularly performs Next Generation Sequencing library prep, probe hybridization, library capture, library cleanup and quantification.
- Correctly enters patients confidential, clinical information into LIMS.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors degree combined with one year of molecular biology experience within a clinical laboratory.
- Experience working in a CLIA/CAP regulated laboratory.
- Hands-on experience with NGS, automated liquid handling systems and robotics.
- Proficiency with LIMS and Microsoft Office Suites.
