Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for a Medical Device Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a great contract to hire opportunity working from 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming medical device components, raw materials, and sub-assemblies using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
- Perform final product inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Accurately document inspection results per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Identify/report non-conformances and support root cause investigations.
- Maintain inspection records and assist in audits.
- Work with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
Requirements:
- Preferred: Experience in regulated medical device manufacturing.
- 2+ years of experience in incoming and final product inspections.
- Knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specs.
- Proficient with inspection tools (optical comparators, microscopes, calipers).
- Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
