Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading medical device manufacturer who is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a contract-hire position working 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime on Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Specialist will perform receiving inspection, in process, and final inspection of medical devices and electromechanical assemblies
- QA Specialist will perform QA documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action, and rework of nonconforming materials
- QA Specialist will write nonconforming material reports, rework instructions
- QA Specialist will conduct internal audits and will provide support to Engineers in calibration and testing activities
Requirements:
- Candidates must have experience using measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of cleanroom protocol
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Word and Excel
- Candidates must have a strong technical aptitude, strong math skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
