Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Medical Collections Specialist for a growing pharmaceutical company in the Cary, NC area. This is a temp to hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Handle both inbound and outbound phone calls with patients and providers
- Communicate with patients to identify possible payment plans and manage updates to accounts
- Take payments from customers and assist with invoice help
- Work with patients to handle questions regarding copayments, balances, and insurance issues that need to be addressed
- Prepare documentation for patients in reference to balances
- Follow up with patients by phone and email as needed
- Review accounts weekly and monthly to ensure all payment schedules are being met
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Pharmacy Tech experience preferred
- At least 1 year of previous collections experience
- Strong attention to detail
