Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer, specializing in Piping design to join a growing company in the Triad area. This is an opportunity to join an exciting company in a great facility with a collaborative culture and with strong potential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- S or B.S in mechanical design or other related manufacturing disciplines
- Mechanical systems and piping design experience
- Comfortable in a 3D software environment, Revit experience preferred
- Experience designing piping systems for chilled water, hot water, steam and condensate
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology
- Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with engineers, directors, manufacturing and production staff.
Requirements:
- Will be the primary piping systems designer for all off site constructed mechanical projects.
- Coordinate the piping systems within the mechanical equipment footprint and beyond.
- Apply piping knowledge to ensure that the most optimized system possible is designed.
- Work closely with project teams to provide technical design and engineering support from design to fabrication at the manufacturing facility.
- Review project submissions and drawings with an eye for accuracy
- Provide support to manufacturing and production to ensure that company is meeting the intent of the customers specifications.
