Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Cary area who is hiring a Material Handler to join their team. This is a great opportunity working on 1st shift Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:45pm.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials, inspect for quality, and accurately record receipts.
- Utilize our MRP system and Excel on a daily basis to track inventory, update stock levels, and generate reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Assist in the organization and optimization of warehouse layout to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with production work cells to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and inventory control.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on meeting the needs of internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience in receiving and inventory control preferred.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
