Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Mebane area recruit Material Handlers to join their team. Rotating day (6:30am-7pm) and night (6:30pm-7am) shifts available.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Perform order picking and shipping/receiving duties as assigned
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years warehouse background
- Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts. Stand-up forklift a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and completing paperwork accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
