Accentuate Staffing is seeking an a Marketing Specialist with an interest in engineering concepts and new technologies to join a growing medical tech company in Apex, NC.  The Marketing Specialist will work with leadership to accelerate market / brand awareness, creating and managing a digital presence / strategy, and assist in generating additional leads and opportunities for the Sales team.  This is a director hire onsite role  with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage trade show, conventions, and exposition logistics
  • Develop and manage website content (interface with outside vendor)
  • Manage and nurture lead generation (interface with outside vendor)
  • Create technical and branding content for lead generation
  • Lead processing and verification
  • Design marketing communications and implement campaigns (social media, white papers, blog posts, etc.)
  • Identify competitive landscape and gather market intel on company, industry, and geographic region
  • Conduct research into project-related issues to ensure competitiveness in the market
  • Develop advertising materials
  • Propose development and preparation of reports to assist with decision making
  • Provide training and direction to support staff in relation to corporate branding
  • Direct sales and marketing research jobs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Engineering or Science background is a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in relevant marketing role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent creativity and presentation skills
  • Experience in social media, content development and online marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics
  • Familiar with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Proficient in CRM software is a plus
  • Strong written oral communication skills to effectively communicate critical design/project information to customers or internal stakeholders
  • Ability to explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Ability to work across business unit functions and various levels within an organization
