Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Marketing Associate to join a leading Construction company with locations in Raleigh, Charlotte, Columbia, Charleston, and Richmond.  This person will assist with the daily tasks associated with marketing. This is a non-exempt position and serves as an ambassador of the company brand to internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan marketing activities
  • Write resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
  • Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work
  • Update social media information
  • Update Web site information
  • Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, PR, etc.)
  • Plan and coordinate special events
  • Research target markets
  • Assist with internal company communications, i.e. Company Newsletter
  • Develop and create printed and digital marketing materials for website, proposals, presentations, email blasts, direct mail, newsletters, social networking, and collateral materials
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations, i.e. SMPS
  • Assists in producing all RFP/RFQ packages to ensure accurate content, branding, formatting consistency, and compliance
  • Working in collaboration with the Marketing Department, identifies and tracks all client and proposal leads
  • Coordinates and assists with activities involved in the preparation of RFP/RFQ/RFLOI responses, presentations, and other qualification packages
  • Actively involved in the development and maintaining of all marketing resource materials including brochures, data, color copies, photography, files, and the CRM database
  • Serves as a liaison with clients, consultants, and vendors/suppliers
  • Represents company at industry tradeshows and conferences
  • Ensures marketing materials meet quality and brand standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing and/or communications, ideally in the A/E/C industry
  • Preparation to earn the CPSM Certification and Social Media Certification, i.e. Hub Spot Academy
  • Proficient with word processing software
  • Proficient with desktop publishing software
  • Possess knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and proposal graphics.
  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of database concepts
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures
  • Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Knowledge of: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. Some knowledge of Adobe Suite of products, and Deltek Vision is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Works well independently and collaboratively
  • Detail oriented with experience in maintaining marketing records and client accounts
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion
