Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client of ours in the Morrisville area recruit for a Manufacturing Scheduler to join their team. This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Generate manufacturing orders for the production floor, encompassing tasks such as reviewing parts orders and specifications, devising manufacturing processes for parts, and overseeing the manufacturing order process via the AS400 system.
- Draft manufacturing orders for intricate assemblies involving Automation and Work-holding products.
- Liaise with external vendors for quotes and procurement processes.
- Utilize SAP to develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production/service orders.
- Review, finalize, and authorize the closure of manufacturing orders upon completion.
- Support gauge calibration activities.
- Engage in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A 2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems highly preferred, as well as experience with Microsoft Office, TEAMS, and Smartsheets.
- Proficiency in Metric and English measurement systems.
- Fundamental understanding of machining processes (milling, turning, precision grinding).
- Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints.
- Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.
- Effective team player with the ability to function in a dynamic team setting.
