Accentuate Staffing is working with a growing manufacturer in the Raleigh area for a Quality Engineer.  The purpose of this position is to act as the primary party ensuring the QMS is being followed in both internal and external circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • The Quality Engineer will work with authority figures to ensure customer requirements are met and all risks to the quality performance of the company are properly addressed.
  • This position not only is assisting in current production evaluation but also future business opportunities to ensure proper Advanced Product Quality Planning has been utilized for the continued growth of the company while ensuring compliance with all customer-specific requirements.
  • This position is an assistant in the bridge of communication for manufacturing of external issues to help continuously improve for future business.
  • Support APQP activities such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Inspection reports.
  • Responsible for closing issues in a timely manner so we maintain compliance with requirements both internally and externally.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the internal calibration system Maintain compliance in all customer portals to ensure performance in our metric agreements with Customers.
  • Assist in the review of any new tool, procedures, or work activities for production operations Work as company representative for all internal and external audits.
  • Track business KPIs monthly for review by Top-level management Serve as an internal auditor for the QMS system Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree preferred or applicable job experience in the Quality Engineering field.
  • Ability to communicate both Internally and within a Customer facing environment.
  • Ability to use various measurement tools for evaluating electrical current, structural dimensioning, painting, and welding applications.
  • Ability to communicate through written and spoken word through diverse disciplines of the business.
  • Ability to efficiently use MS Office products effectively.
  • Must be willing to work in various work environments both office and shop floor activities.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in group settings
