Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery parts in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 7:30am-4:15pm Monday-Friday, offering competitive wages and excellent benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Manager will manage machining and assembly operations in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Manager will oversee safety, quality, and on time customer service
- Manager will manage assembly and aftermarket parts manufacturing activities
- Manager will reduce the overall cost of quality, meet and exceed shipping goals, and ship products on time to customer requirements
- Manager will lead a team of 6 direct reports and 100 indirect reports, enforcing rules, cross training employees
- Manager will promote lean, continuous improvement, and waste elimination in all activities
- Manager will ensure compliance with established polices, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
- Candidates must have leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, leading CNC and Manual machinists, welders, mechanical assemblers, etc.
- Candidates must have knowledge of quality management systems, ISO 9000, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and continuous improvement initiatives and tools
- Candidates must have a proven record of creating a safety culture and maintaining high standards of safety performance
- Candidates with previous experience working in an Engineered To Order manufacturing environment preferred
- Candidates with a Bachelors degree is preferred, Mechanical Engineering degree a plus!
