Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturer in Raleigh who is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join their machine shop as a Manual Machinist. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn, and grow in a skilled trade. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive benefits, working 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Machinist will operate manual equipment machining of components to meet dimensions and tolerances
- Machinist will set up and adjust equipment
- Machinist will work from lay outs and dimensions on drawings
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude – experience with farm equipment, shop class, or junior college projects is a plus
- Interest in learning machining and working with manual machines
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Highly skilled in math, taking measurements
- Candidates must be able to read blueprints, drawings
