Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading print manufacturing company in the Morrisville, NC area with hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and automated production equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues
- Support conveyors, CNC equipment, printers, packaging equipment, sensors, and automated systems
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuilds
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Automation preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience with conveyors, CNC equipment, packaging equipment, or automated material handling systems preferred
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, and three-phase electrical systems preferred
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S principles is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
