Maintenance Technician
Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity working a flexible 1st shift schedule 6am-2pm Monday-Friday with some overtime requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and building systems in compliance with cGMP standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
- Support installation, testing, and relocation of equipment as needed.
- Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with general facility improvements and repairs.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members; flexibility in schedule may be required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in equipment and facility maintenance, ideally in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics or technical drawings.
- Physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, standing, climbing, and bending.
- Experience in general trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
