Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer of construction materials in Raleigh who is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. This position is 1st shift, working a lot of overtime, Monday-Friday. This is a contract-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical and mechanical equipment
- Candidate will install and repair all new and existing machinery
- Candidate will calibrate and adjust equipment to required specifications
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Working knowledge of equipment maintenance and technical understanding
- Must have knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with PLCs and other troubleshooting techniques and testing equipment
