Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Corporate Trainer. We are looking for a highly organized member of the Learning and Development Team who specifically specializes in the delivery of high-quality content to varying target audiences. Content may include technical product training, customer service, systems, leadership, etc. You will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices, then developing a training framework complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.  The ideal candidate will be a confident, engaging public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools, adult learning principles and resources needed to improve employee knowledge, training and performance. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training materials. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Development and is located in our Durham, NC office. This will be a hybrid work situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross functionally to obtain an in-depth understanding of companies products, platforms, and business model
  • Proactively seek to understand corporate upskilling and reskilling requirements
  • Facilitate training courses that improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity
  • Create tutorials to increase platform and product confidence and speed to proficiency for internal learners
  • Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and procedural guides for internal learners
  • Conduct post assessment satisfaction surveys and interviews for learners

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven corporate training experience; technical/product/insurance training a plus
  • Ability to deliver high quality training paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and facilitate the material to a range of target audiences
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, critical thinking,  and decision-making skills
  • Ability to think strategically, and make recommendations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • University degree in Communication, Instructional Design, Business, or related field preferred
  • Able to work efficiently in fast paced environment
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Technical Writing and Project Management experience preferred
