Accentuate Staffing is hiring a LEAN Manufacturing Technician to join an established company in the Fuquay-Varina area. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a LEAN Manufacturing environment, and is able to simplify complex processes. The candidate identifies and documents the most efficient way to manufacture the product. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Create Bill of Materials for new parts and modify existing parts
- Work closely with members of other teams to identify and create required documents for new processes
- Develop correct and accurate specifications and documentation to support new product introduction and its manufacturability
- Simply complex processes by documenting in a Standard Work Instruction
- Implement 5S+1 and Visual Factory
Requirements:
- High School Degree required, Associates Degree preferred
- At least 2 years in a LEAN Manufacturing Environment
- Proven ability in the application and use of LEAN/Six Sigma tools
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
- Experience with a Quality Management System required
