Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of pipefitters and apprentices on active job sites
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Plan, layout, and install piping systems for HVAC and other commercial applications
• Install commercial chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, rooftop and split system equipment, and other mechanical systems
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing and safety codes
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries as needed
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Train and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of pipefitting experience in commercial construction
• Proven experience managing commercial installations
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and commercial construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and team management skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Trade school or apprenticeship program graduate preferred
