Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Wilson, NC area who is hiring a CNC Laser Cutter/Lathe Operator to join their team. This is a direct hire or temp-to-hire opportunity working 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional early start OT as early as 5:00am.
Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting machine to produce aluminum and metal parts
- Operate manual machines including lathes and drill presses
- Monitor machine operation during cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform grinding and deburring to finish parts after machining
- Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
- Perform basic quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools
- Work with small parts and maintain attention to tolerances and specifications
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous machining or manufacturing experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Experience using calipers and basic measuring tools
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production/shop environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be detail-oriented and able to monitor machine processes independently
- Welding experience is not required but is a plus
- Ability to work overtime when needed
