Accentuate Staffing is recruiting a Junior Production Planer for a fast growing manufacturing company in Apex, NC. This is a great opportunity for a bright go getter who is eager to learn, and enjoys the challenges of a dynamic working environment. The position requires attention to detail, problem solving abilities, as well as good follow through. You will be working in a team environment, as well as interacting daily with many internal departments. Responsibilities:
- Release work orders to shop floor for build to stock modules
- Track work orders that need to be issued, and create list of any shortages for planning and purchasing review
- Follow up on status of all shortages on a daily basis
- Responsible to assist RMA planner with backlog
- Assist production planners with planning and scheduling sales order when needed
- Schedule miscellaneous purchased only line items to ship on Sales Orders
- Review and approve internal parts requests
- Create and maintain excellent working relationship with internal/external suppliers, and customers
- Assist supervisor and senior planner on lean projects, using Excel
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail, and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and personal time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access)
- Bachelor Degree is highly preferred
