Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an IT Manager to join a growing Engineering company the located in Oxford, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the IT function. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees
  • Establish effective internal processes and security practices
  • Identify opportunities for business optimization and process improvement
  • Align IT with company business objectives
  • Create and manage 3 year plan and budget for software and hardware needs
  • Research and implement industry best practices
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware
  • Manage ERP system and provide reports as needed for various departments
  • Manage network servers, technology tools, and related infrastructure
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and prevent outages

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in Information Technology or related experience
  • Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with SQL server database and Visual Basic
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Access and Internet Browsers
  • Experience with other programing languages
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
