Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturing client of ours in the Durham area recruit for an Inventory Specialist. This is a direct hire opportunity, working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with required overtime as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Associate will assist with taking inventory and performing cycle counts
- Associate will determine root causes and work to resolve discrepancies
- Associate will work closely with Operations Manager to report results and present proposals as well as assist with implementation of any changes
- Associate will attend Kaizen and Continuous Improvement events
- Associate will also assist with other warehouse functions as needed
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 3+ years inventory experience
- Candidate must have previous material handling experience
- Candidate must be comfortable picking orders
- Candidate must have strong computer skills, to include experience with MRP/ERP systems as well as Excel
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
