Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Inventory Analyst to join an established company in the Raleigh area. This position is responsible for all activities related to placing purchase orders with suppliers to replenish inventory levels and will ensure efficient inventory flow to multi-state company locations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily stock orders
• Manage local inventory settings for assigned store group
• Manage inventory levels to predetermined stock levels via orders, leveling, and returns
• Receive purchase order request from multi-state store locations.
• Partners with the Management and Sales Team in Store Group
• Record and track orders using inventory management system.
• Review and follow up on past due orders and ensure orders remain open until complete.
• Process cancellation of purchase orders utilizing inventory management system and communicate all cancellations to suppliers.
• Perform data maintenance (item data including vendor/manufacturer settings, price fields, descriptions, etc.)
Requirements:
• AAS Degree in Business or related field
• 1-3 years of related purchasing or inventory control experience
• Proficient in Excel with database design especially macros, queries, and reports
