Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer for the construction industry who is looking for a Door Shop Supervisor to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire position working 6:30am-5pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Supervisor will coordinate the activities of the door manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes.
- Supervisor will train and develop production workers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Supervisor will monitor production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer demands.
- Supervisor will conduct regular quality checks to ensure that doors meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
- Supervisor will collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and maintenance, to ensure the availability of materials and equipment for uninterrupted production.
- Supervisor will troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Supervisor will maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production reports, and employee performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 2 plus years door manufacturing experience.
- Candidate must have previous supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of door manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Candidate must have a high school diploma/GED.
