Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Interior Designer to join a boutique design firm in Raleigh NC. The designer will provide project support to Senior Interior Designer and assist in the management of the day to day production of interior design projects to meet deadlines and company goals. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, creating and managing budgets and schedules, sourcing fabrics, wall covering, furniture and other materials and working with the team to prepare formal board presentations and construction documents

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project support to Lead Designer
  • Communicate design vision through images, renderings and concept drawings
  • Develop project schedules and budgets
  • Develop furniture packages, documentation, details and specifications for projects
  • Utilize FF&E specifications knowledge and abilities on projects
  • Utilize vendor and materials library to create finish presentations for client presentations
  • Work with the team to prepare finish boards
  • Produce documentation, detailed instructions, drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers and mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawing sets (MEPs) to ensure project success
  • Assist & oversee Installations

Requirements:

  • 4-year Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 3+ years work experience in contract and hospitality sector
  • Furniture dealer experience preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp & Adobe Creative Suite
  • CET and Designer Manager experience is desirable
  • Strong creative aptitude with an attention to detail
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Graphic and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with others
