Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting an Insurance Billing Specialist for a large pediatric medical center in the Cary area. This is a possible temp to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all charge entry including coding needs
- Prepare deposits and verify accuracy at all locations
- Post insurance payments and adjustments
- Investigate any claim denials and resolve all claim issues
- Manage all billing reports to monitor contracts and accounts
- Document check payments received by mail
- Answer phone for patients and assist with any billing questions
- Respond to all insurance correspondence requests in an efficient, timely manner
- Review and correct all account credits
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Certified professional coder (CPC) or CPC-A; at least 2 years medical billing experience
- High school diploma
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detailed
- 10 key and strong data entry skill set
