Responsibilities:

• Will manage drop ship accounts – place and confirm orders, expedite orders, and ensure that all orders arrive in a timely manner.
• Will sell the product and pass the order to a third party vendor who will ship the order to the customer.
• Will process drop ship orders, for example, if the customer buys five items, this role will process orders by sending to the vendor, follow up to make sure items were shipped on time and follow up with finance on invoices.
• This position is high volume, a lot of data entry, but not complex.
• Will process 400-500 PO’s a month.
• Entry-mid level domestic buying experience with basic buying knowledge
• Will work with finance and customer service teams.
• Will protect the customer experience by identifying and resolving issues with invoices, price discrepancies, and handling non-conforming materials and returns to suppliers.
• Responsible for primary communication with internal customer service requests.
• Will process returns

Requirements:

• Understand the fundamentals of Purchasing activities.
• Strong Computer Skills to include Excel must be able to work with complex formulas
• Speed and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Very detailed.  Mistakes will cause issues down the road in the supply chain.
• Listen to feedback and follow directions
• Must be willing to learn and be self-guided and proactive with training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Maintain professional business relations with vendors.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and be committed to company goals.
• Strong collaborative skill set and willingness to work with cross functional teams.
