Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a HR Manager to join a growing manufacturing company in Hammond, WI.  This role will work in partnership with the Site Director to plan, lead and organize Human Resource development process and strategy that is proactive, solutions focused, sensitive to employee needs but business driven. Perform Human Resource generalist functions as needed and as appropriate.   This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive programs and processes that promote a safe, respectful and productive culture
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of a Human Resource system used to analyze, collect and maintain personnel records and activities and meet management’s information needs in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Coordinate the recruitment, evaluation, selection and onboarding processes of new talent based on needs of the business/plant
  • Assess, plan and coordinate training and development programs for employees at all levels with these goals: Enhance their knowledge of company policies and procedures; enable them to develop the skills required to perform their jobs satisfactorily; give the operation a trained work force that can achieve its objectives; continuously build competencies and skills and coach managers in providing appropriate development plans for employees
  • Analyze, recommend and implement controls for compensation programs, salaries and employee benefits
  • Advise the operation with respect to the requirements of state and federal regulations; provide swift and thorough investigations of any inquiries, incidents or charges brought against the operation under such; negotiate and recommend settlement of cases where appropriate
  • Provide Human Resources services to all employees and functions of the manufacturing plant which operates on a 24-hour basis
  • Provide counsel and advice to managers and supervisors to ensure effective management of the company’s human resources
  • Develop objectives, strategies, plans, policies, and programs for the Human Resources department
  • Responsible for contributing to the production of a quality product by ensuring the availability of qualified personnel through Human Resource processes; making suggestions for the improvement of those processes
  • Responsible for documentation of employee training

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as HRIS tools and systems (preferred: ADP Workforce Now v22 – HR & Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Success Factors (PM and Compensation Modules)
  • Effective in interpersonal communications skills
  • Solid writing, presentation and reporting skills, especially regarding HR metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree required; masters preferred plus 5-7 years Human Resource experience encompassing full Human Resource generalist responsibilities
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP)
  • Proven track record in influence/change management, positive employee relations, respectful, safe working environment and progressive Human Resource Systems
  • Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodology and improvement processes in a manufacturing environment helpful
