Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join a well-established manufacturing client located in Oxford, NC. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. The HR Generalist will support a broad range of human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, safety, and training. This role is instrumental in promoting a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations, labor laws, and HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements
- Lead and coordinate new hire onboarding to ensure a seamless and engaging experience
- Oversee safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Support performance management processes including appraisals, development plans, and goal setting
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Plan and facilitate employee training sessions and professional development programs
- Handle confidential employee matters with discretion and professionalism
- Research and implement HR best practices to improve departmental efficiency and employee satisfaction
- Manage leave programs such as FMLA, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD)
- Maintain and update HRIS systems and ensure accurate reporting
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support strategic HR projects and organizational development goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
