Accentuate Staffing has an immediate opportunity for an HR Generalist to join an established regional healthcare facility in Raleigh. This is onsite and will provide HR support to the HR Manager.

The HR Generalist will support the overall operations of the Human Resources department with a heavy focus on recruiting. This position will recruit talent, onboard employees and assist with questions regarding benefits and company policies

Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Assists with job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts reference checks and submits background check requests
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • May attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Update employee records in payroll system. Processes employment status and data changes.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of human resources experience recruiting in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as having prior experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
