Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an HR Admin/Immigration Specialist with a growing clinical research company in the Durham. This is a remote/hybrid direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personnel files, HR databases and data input on other business processes
  • Ensure compliance of all International HR records to legal and Best Practice standards
  • Support any legal issues and preparation for cases as required
  • Liaise with the recruitment Team to ensure freelance/contractor information is up to date and act as a prompt when contracts are due to expire
  • Coordinate and work with the appropriate bodies to obtain necessary work permits and documents for renewals as required
  • Serve as a resource on routine and complex visa matters, provide guidance, assistance, and support to management, supervisors, and administrators
  • Act as immigration resource to Foreign Nationals, assisting and responding to questions regarding immigration regulations, required forms, Premier Research processes, etc.
  • Liaison between foreign national, Visa Services, sponsoring departments and other related entities.
  • Complete web forms, obtain required documentation, review all paperwork received.
  • Check for accuracy and compliance throughout the process to ensure process meets regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate, process, and manage new hires, including I-9 verification and submission.
  • Obtain and verify necessary documentation.
  • Manage relationship with outside immigration counsel to ensure adherence to compliance, service level standards, and communication.
  • Ensure HR and businesses processes and procedures are kept up to date; data integrity is accurate and complete

Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or other related field
  • Minimum  2 years HR coordinating experience
  • Experience supporting immigration needs within a corporate or legal environment/immigration attorneys
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
